The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Hands-On Specialist will be responsible for utilizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to develop, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns. Responsibilities:
Platform Configuration and Customization:
- Configure and customize the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to meet specific business requirements.
- Implement and manage customer journeys, automation, and data-driven marketing campaigns.
Campaign Development and Execution:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and requirements.
- Design, develop, and execute targeted and personalized marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools.
Data Management and Segmentation:
- Implement data-driven segmentation strategies to target specific audience segments.
- Ensure data accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance with privacy regulations.
Email Marketing:
- Create and optimize email marketing campaigns, including template design, content creation, and A/B testing.
- Monitor and analyze email campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing campaigns.
- Provide regular insights into campaign performance, identifying areas for optimization.
Collaboration and Training:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Conduct training sessions to educate team members on Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive customer data within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Technical Qualifications:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Expertise:
- In-depth hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Builder, and Contact Builder.
- Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing marketing automation solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
- Implemented at least 3-4 projects in a Lead or Architect capacity.
AMPscript and HTML Proficiency:
- Strong proficiency in AMPscript for dynamic content personalization and scripting within emails.
- Proficient in HTML for email template customization and responsive design.
Data Management and SQL:
- Solid understanding of data management principles, including data cleansing, segmentation, and integration.
- Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating data within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Integration Skills:
- Familiarity with integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems, such as CRM platforms, e-commerce systems, or third-party APIs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Marketing Automation Best Practices:
- Knowledge of marketing automation best practices, including lead nurturing, drip campaigns, and scoring models.
- Experience implementing and optimizing complex customer journeys.
Analytics and Reporting Tools:
- Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to measure and analyze campaign performance.
- Experience with data visualization tools for presenting insights effectively.
Compliance and Security:
- Understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and experience implementing compliance measures.
- Knowledge of security best practices within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment.
