Responsibilities of a Software Engineer (Sterling OMS Consultant) include:
➤ Design, code, test and support customers using industry leading OMS technology – IBM Sterling OMS
➤ Become an expert in the features, technical aspects and administration of IBM Stering suite of products and related technologies (Java, AngularJS) to deliver Digital experiences for our clients
➤ Be responsive to client demands, proactively create tools and mitigate risks in implementation through innovation and engineering
➤ Debug and troubleshoot code and deployment related issues/defects
➤ Produce client deliverables such as test plans, design documents, assessment reports, status updates
➤ Gain an understanding of the unique business and technical requirements on each engagement to implement, test and tune the solution
➤ Implement proofs of concept to prove any new technologies or integration scenarios and identify customizations needed to Sterling OMS platform for meeting client requirements.
➤ Integrate commerce cloud with 3rd party/back-end systems leveraging Java and middleware solutions while ensuring scalability, performance and coding guidelines
➤ Implement build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and DevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality.
➤ Communicate via phone, email, face-to-face and web meetings with partners, Project Manager/Scrum Masters and customers assisting and guiding them through all stages of the SDLC

Qualifications/Requirements:
➤ 1-3 years experience as Technical Consultant /Software Developer/ Systems Analyst working on J2EE, Web development (JavaScript) or eCommerce platforms (ATG, SAP Hybris, Magento or WCS/HCL Commerce) or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences/Information Technology
➤ Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Engineering
➤ Strong technical skills across various technologies including J2EE, RDBMS, Unix, Shell scripting and an impeccable business acumen
➤ Demonstrated strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
➤ Detail-oriented and produces high quality work under demanding circumstances
➤ Flexible to new situations and challenges
➤ Go-Getter willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
➤ US Citizen or Permanent Resident (For US Openings), Chile citizen or resident (For Chile openings) etc. Basically Work authorization for your region of residence
