Abstract

Allergan Aesthetics, an Abbvie Company develops, manufactures, and markets a portfolio of leading aesthetics brands and products. The aesthetics portfolio includes facial injectables, body contouring, plastics, skin care and more.  The products are sold through Provider Network, Physician Sites, and Marketplaces including Amazon.  Abbvie came to Perfaware looking for a partner that could deliver a world-class eCommerce experience based on the Salesforce platform.

About Allergan Aesthetics

Allergan Aesthetics leverages SAP for all their inventory promising, order orchestration, routing and allocation needs.  Any small tweak to the allocation or routing rule takes weeks or months as the entire Abbvie business run on the SAP system.  In addition, the order servicing functions like modifications, returns or refunds require the contact center personnel to go through a series of manual steps.  To streamline these post-order capture processes Perfaware implemented Salesforce Order Management for Order Entry, Orchestration, Fulfillment, and Payment Capture/Settlement.  To facilitate post-order modifications, Perfaware implemented the Order Servicing capability providing order visibility and ability to take action.  In doing so Perfaware helped to connect SFOM with current SAP/ERP and inventory systems, and in doing so, implemented Salesforce Omni-Channel Inventory (OCI) to provide complete Inventory Visibility for better inventory accuracy in SFCC. As part of implementing Order Servicing Perfaware enabled Allergan to modify orders including address changes, quantity changes, cancellations & returns.  The integration with the ERP systems was accomplished using Mulesoft to connect SFOM with all external applications e.g. ERP, 3PL, OceanX, Vertex, Chase PaymentTech, etc.

Business Challenge

Marketplace Inventory segmentation logic has to be made dynamic with minimal code and config changes. For SAP Inventory update OnHand Quantity allocation for Location should get calculated based on percentage defined for MarketPlace and remaining to be assigned to B2C.
